Today Vera has taken her first title in 2011 at a big tournament Qatar Ladies Open 2011 in Doha after a very convincing win over world #1 Caroline Wozniacki 6:4 6:4.

It is the 11th title in Vera's career. Congratulations, Vera !!!!!

Vera Zvonareva reached her first final this year after a very nice win over Serbian Jelena Jankovic in three sets 6:1 2:6 6:4.

In the final Vera will play against world #1 Caroline Wozniacki.

Today in the quarterfinal of the Qatar Open Ladies Vera Zvonareva has defeated Slovak Daniela Hantuchova in a very tough match 7:5 6:7 7:5.

In the semifinal Vera will play against her good old opponent Jelena Jankovic.

Vera has defeated Slovak Dominika Cibulkova in the first match on the tournament in Doha 6:1 6:2.

Next opponent is Daniela Hantuchova, she won semifinal match against Vera in Pattaya. And what will be in this time?

Vera Zvonareva lost to her compatriot Alisa Kleybanova in the third round of the Dubai tournament in two easy sets 3:6 2:6.

In the first match at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships Vera Zvonareva has defeated Italian Roberta Vinci 6:3 6:1.

Next opponent is Alisa Kleybanova.

Unfortunately, Vera Zvonareva сouldn't take the third title in Pattaya.

Vera Zvonareva defeated Czech woman Lucie Safarova in the third round of the Australian Open in two sets 6:3 7:6.

Vera Zvonareva has reached the third round at the Australian Open after a tough win over young Serbian Bojana Jovanovski 2:6 6:3 6:1.

In the next match Vera will play against Lucie Safarova from Czech Republic.

Vera Zvonareva has won her second match in the final of the Hong Kong Tennis Classic against No. 1 in the world Caroline Wozniacki  6:1 6:0.

Vera said after the match: "That was a great match for me, i played some good tennis. I'm very excited about the season after 2 matches in Hong Kong."

In the first match at the exhibition tournament in Hong Kong Vera Zvonareva has won over American Venus Williams 6:4 6:2. In the doubles Vera with Evgeniy Kafelnikov has defeated duo Venus/John McCenroe 6:4 4:6 10:5.
