Vera managed to reach the quarterfinal in Charleson after a very tough win over Swiss Stefanie Voegele 5:7 6:3 6:4.

In the next match Vera will play against Czech woman Lucie Safarova.

Vera Zvonareva has defeated Ukrainian Katerina Bondarenko in the first match at the Family Circle Cup 6:1 6:1.

Next opponent - Stefanie Voegele from Switzerland.

Unfortunately, Vera has continued an unsuccessful series. Today she has lost the first match in Miami to Spanish woman Garbine Blanko 4:6 3:6.

Unfortunately, Vera Zvonareva has pulled out of her match vs Zakopalova in Indian Wells because of a viral illness.

Today Vera Zvonareva has won over Kimiko Date-Krumm from Japan in the second round of the BNP Paribas Open 6:3 6:4 (In the first round Vera had a BYE).

Unfortunately Vera again had to retire because of a hip injury. It happened in the match vs Romanian Monica Niculescu at the Qatar Ladies OPen.

Next tournament - Indian Wells, that starts on March 7.

Vera Zvonareva and Svetlana Kuznetsova have won the doubles title at the Australian Open. They beat Italian team Errani/Vinci with a score 5:7 6:4 6:3.

It's the second doubles title at slams in Vera's career. She also has  two GS titles in the mixed doubles.

Unfortunately, Vera Zvonareva lost to her compatriot Ekaterina Makarova in the third round of the Australian Open with a score 6:7 1:6.

In two weeks Vera will play in Pattaya.

Then Vera will play vs her compatriot Ekaterina Makarova.

Today Vera Zvonareva has won over Alexandra Dulgheru from Romania in the first round of the Australian Open 7:6 6:7 6:3. Vera: "Happy with the win. Conditions were very tough out there. On to the next round".

In the next round Vera will play against Czech Lucie Hradecka.

Today Vera starts the new season 2012. Her first opponent was compatriot Svetlana Kuznetsova. So it was a difficult draw for the first match, because Svetlana played well at the tournament in Auckland.

Unfortunately Vera easily lost 1:6 2:6.

Vera Zvonareva lost to Victoria Azarenka from Belarus in the semifinal of the WTA Championships in two sets 2:6 3:6.

Vera won't play in the Fed Cup final because of shoulder injury.

Then Vera will play vs Agnieszka Radwanska.

In the first match of the red group at the WTA Championships in Istanbul Vera Zvonareva lost to Czech woman Petra Kvitova 2:6 4:6.

Tomorrow Vera will play against Caroline Wozniacki.

At the WTA Championships in Istanbul Vera Zvonareva has been drawn with Petra Kvitova, Carolina Wozniacki and Agnieszka Radwanska in the red group.
